Wandering souls

Because life is one beautiful trip.

There’s another trip afoot with my Gypsy Sister, Joelle. We are planning and purchasing and plotting and dreaming. For us, the months leading up to our trip are part of the adventure, too.

We both work from home and find ourselves too focused at times, forgetting for hours on end to stand up or eat. Then the little facebook icon will pop up with a message. “Hey, check out this cool place to camp,” and we are off on a daydream. For a few minutes we forget about spreadsheets and clients and video conferences. We are in a forest, hiking among the redwoods, sitting by a campfire, climbing up a seaside cliff, watching a sunset.

April will find us meandering through Big Sur in a VW van. We’ve booked our flights to California, but if you know us, you know that each day’s destination will be decided that morning. There is no telling where we will wind up or how long we will stay.
